Are you ready to step out and explore the unknown? Do you have all the essentials? We are here to remind you of the things that you must pack before heading out into the wide world. And pack smart. Travelling light but smart is the way to go because it saves time, effort, and money. So here are the top three things that will help you be so.
Choose your winter clothes
Clothes for summer are always easier to pack than for winter due to the bulkiness. Avoid taking a different sweater for each day and never forget the importance of layers. Just take different accessories. A knee-length dress which doubles as a skirt or a simple scarf have the power to make you look stunning and different each day!
Psst pro tip: Expand your merino wool clothes collection. They are lightweight, dry super-fast, and is great for both summer and winter.
Roll up
Tightly rolling up your clothes not only saves space but also avoids them from being crinkled. Of course, our first advice would be not to take clothes that get easily crinkled in the first place.
Psst pro tip: Roll up AND tie them up. With rubber bands or stretch bands. This shrinks them further and keeps them completely intact.
Free guides
Yes not many people carry guidebooks around anymore when you can read up online before you go. You might just carry a few printouts with you. Replace those with one or two apps that will allow you to read about attractions after reaching your destinations. But make sure you download apps that allow you to be offline and still access information.
Psst pro tip: Most countries now have free apps that offer you guided walks and audio tours of the cities and even specific attractions. Download these and keep deleting them as you finish your tours.
