So hop on with us and be a part of this beautiful mountain town while you unwind and take in the serene charm that Tawang has to offer.
On arriving at Guwahati Airport, you will take a ride to Bhalukpong, which takes 4-5 hours. The picturesque vistas commence from here. You may also visit the famed Agnigarh and Cole Park on your way.
After an appetizing breakfast, we set out for river rafting on the crystal clear waters of the Jia Bhorelli River, which is enough to refresh our fatigued souls. We have also planned an adrenaline-inducing jungle walk for you amidst relaxing surroundings teeming with rare species of birds and butterflies and occasionally thronged by elephants and panthers. However, if you choose to skip this, we can drive straight to Dirang for the next stop of our journey.
Get excited for today as we will immerse ourselves in the beauty of the enchanting Sangti Valley before driving on to our next destination, Tawang. On the way, we shall stop to admire one of the most breathtaking sites near Tawang, the Sela Pass. Being the only means by which Tawang is linked to the rest of the country, this pass is a lifeline for the locals. Take in the beauty of the scintillating Sela Lake before we move on to the revered Jaswantgarh War Memorial. Finally, before relaxing at Tawang, we shall visit the glorious Jung Waterfalls.
The district of Tawang has a lot to offer to its guests, and we shall show you all of it! From Tawang Monastery which is the largest in the country, we shall proceed towards the Gorichen Peak, majestically standing at a soaring height of 22,500 feet. After gorging on delectable cuisine and having a friendly interaction with the locals, we can call it a day.
Rise and shine, for we shall set out for an adventurous trip to the mesmerizing Bumla Pass, which lies at an elevation of 15,200 feet and marks the Indo-China Border. Next, we shall proceed to the captivating Pangong Tso Lake, which offers a serene atmosphere and a pleasant weather to one and all. Finally, we can visit Madhuri Lake (optional) with its spellbinding surroundings before returning to the hotel for the day.
On our five-hour drive from Tawang to Bomdila, we take time to see all that nature has to offer, including R. R Hills, before arriving at our destination and relaxing after having a great dinner together.
On Day 7, we devote ourselves to the long and beautiful journey from Bomdila to Guwahati while we lie back in the vehicle and enjoy the jaw-dropping sights that the path has to offer.
Today, the journey comes to an end after having a piping hot breakfast. It is time to bid farewell as the tour ends.
