Trippin Traveller brings to you another unexplored village for rural tourism along the Konkan coast, Naringre.
A small village with a population of 1,500 has much to offer to you.
Verdant greenery, a star-lit sky, and nature’s undulating rhythms.
Naringre is an all-season destination with each season bringing in its fold a different feel to the place.
While summers are the season to enjoy delicious Alphonso mangoes and cashews, the monsoon brings a lovely green cover.
Winters makes barbecues more interesting with a slight nip in the air.
The Stay: Our village stay is a cozy and rustic villa, set on an operational farm of four acres amidst trees of mango, cashew, banana, areca-nut, chickoo, lime, and bamboo.
Though the setting is rustic, the villa has a few modern amenities, which we think you may like such as a refrigerator, washing machine, cooking gas, and water purifier.
Relax on the hammock, or get adventurous, and take a walk up the small hillock within the property to grab a panoramic view of the entire village.
Conversations flow and time stills as you walk down the village roads.
The Food: Komdi Wadi, Kaju Usal, Ghavan Ras, Ukdiche Modak, Mashechi Amti.
Do we have you drooling yet with these Malwani specialties?
Keeping with sustainable rural tourism, most of the ingredients are sourced locally.
The homestay also stocks up basic essentials like bread, eggs, milk, tea, and coffee powder for your convenience.
