Leh: Incredible Motorbike Adventure

Stay prepared for the ride ahead as you check in to your hotel. Check your bike and make sure that you are rested for the bike ride to come!

 You will begin your drive today when you drive to Sarchu over the famed Rohtang Pass. This distance of about 255km should take you about 6-7 hours to complete. Stay overnight at a camp.

In the morning, drive from Sarchu to Leh, a distance of about 220km over Tanglang-la (5350 Mts.) the second highest road in the world and Lachlan-la (5065 Mts.).  

This is every biker’s dream – driving on the highest motorable road in the world where you will reach Hundur by afternoon. You have the evening free to explore the sand dunes of the desert climate.   

Drive to the 500-year-old Deskit Monastery before riding back to Leh by the same route. Rest your wheels in the evening and take in the hustle and bustle of Leh market.

 This scene of many a movie is the highest salt lake in the world. Enjoy the fascinating change of colors on the lake and stay overnight at the camp.  

Drive back to Leh and spend the night in the city again.   

This day, you will get back to the biking track through which you reached Leh. En-route, you will see Pang and ride through to reach Sarchu. Sarchu lies in the middle of the two beautiful destinations, Manali and Leh. Have a comfortable stay at night in the camp.

In the morning, drive through the Sarchu plain and reach the Baralaccha plain by noon. Enjoy a smooth ride up the Lahaul ranges and reach Rohtang pass. Rohtang pass will come with a number of challenges with mini-rivers of mud.
