From being home to the largest white desert to the longest coastline in the country,
Gujarat is a repository of several marvels of nature.
The sole shelter of the Asiatic Lions,
this place is a perfect blend of rich history, cultural heritage, art,
and music.
Also referred to as the “Land of the Legends”,
Gujarat will make you fall in love with its vibrant atmosphere.
Come, see for yourself!
Welcome to Ahmedabad!
We will transfer you to a hotel
and freshen up before we set out for Little Rann of Kutch,
famous as one of the largest refuges for the Asiatic wild ass,
locally known as Gudkhur.
This sprawling attraction is also home to the blackbuck, nilgai,
the elegant chinkara, Indian Wolf, hyenas,
desert foxes, gerbils, and the saw-scaled viper.
Today we head out to a place with a long history of empires and rulers – Bhuj.
We begin with the regal Aina Mahal,
housing a smorgasbord of archaic art pieces.
From there, we shall visit the Prag Mahal,
situated just beside the Aina Mahal
and move on to Shri Swaminarayan Temple where
will relax by the tranquil Hamirsar Lake.
The day ends with us sitting peacefully at
the peak of the Bhujia Hill and witnessing the sunset.
Bhuj still has a lot in store for us.
We set out early and see some antique pieces dating back
to the first century AD at the Kutch Museum,
before exploring some local villages and interacting with the locals.
Ever wondered how Kutch looks like from a high altitude?
Well, let’s find out by ascending to the highest point of the place,
the Black Hill where we can enjoy
a sweeping panoramic view of the Great Rann of Kutch.
Make sure to bring your binoculars if you wish
to spot the endless varieties of migratory birds that we will be spotting today.
After visiting Ashapura Mata and Mata no Madh we move to Dhordo,
home to traditional artwork and rare species of birds.
We will also visit Narayan Sarovar, which is
an ideal place to connect to our spiritual selves,
before we proceed towards Koteshwar,
renowned for its magnificent Mahadev Temple and Ra Kanoj Tomb.
Finally, we wrap up today’s wonderful experiences with a visit to Nakhtrana,
a large village with mouthwatering street food.
After exploring the beautiful Nakhtrana
we move to Mandvi and head straight
to the beach for some refreshing sea breeze.
We end the day with a visit to the gigantic Jain Temple complex
which houses over seventy temples.
Transfer to the airport for your journey back.
