Discover the highlights of the North East in our Assam and Meghalaya tour. This tour is perfect if you have just a few days to spare and want a quick introduction to the glories of the North East.
Arrive at Guwahati Airport and transfer to Cherrapunjee (The Wettest place on Planet Earth). On the way, sight the Umiam Lake. At Cherrapunjee, visit the Majestic Nohkalikai Falls (India’s tallest plunge waterfall) and take time to savor the exotic view here. Also visit the Seven Sisters Falls and Mawsmai Caves here.

After breakfast, en-route to Mawlynnong (Asia’s cleanest Village). At Mawlynnong visit the Living Root Bridges, sight the balancing rocks and take a walk along the Cleanest Village of Asia. Experience the rich culture of the Khasi Tribes of Meghalaya. Later travel to Dawki (Indo-Bangladesh) border and enjoy boating on the clear waters of the Umngot River at Dawki. Later depart to Shillong – ‘the Scotland of the East’. At Shillong we visit the Shillong Peak and catch a breathtaking view of India’s Rock Capital.

Today, we will spend the day sightseeing at Shillong . Visit the Ward’s Lake and Don Bosco Museum. Also visit the Elephant Falls and the Air Force Musuem at Shillong. Spent your day visiting the largest market of North East India at the Bara-Bazaar and spot exotic species of organic fruits and vegetables.
Later in the evening visit the Madina Masjid (India’s only Glass Mosque).

Depart to the National Park of Manas in Assam. A rich biodiversity area the Manas National Park boasts of a variety of exotic Fauna, Flora and Avi Fauna. Enjoy a jungle safari into the park interiors and spend your evening visiting the local Bodo Tribes of Assam.

Transit to the Kingdom of Bhutan from Panbang. Spend your day sightseeing near the border of the Kingdom of Bhutan.
